Wacissa River - Paddling the Wacissa River and Slave Canal

One of the few paddling trips that we offer as a package deal, this two day, one night trip is a beautiful journey through North Florida. This trip starts at the upper reaches of the crystal clear, spring-fed Wacissa River. We'll paddle south until reach the infamous Slave Canal where we'll paddle through a little bit of history before ending on our journey at the coast as the Aucilla River dumps into the Gulf of Mexico. 

We camp for one night roughly halfway down the river. All you have to bring is your own canoe/kayak, paddle, lifejacket, beverages, lunches, and snacks for the day as we provide your river guide, camping gear, breakfast, dinner, and shuttle. 

This trip is only available between February and October.
